RESOURCES

Early in the process of developing a state comprehensive cancer plan, an important gap  came to light.  Although Connecticut has a great wealth of resources across the spectrum of cancer care, they have not been assessed and are not listed in comprehensive directories that are readily available for either health professionals or consumers.

To address this gap, each Partnership committee has formulated strategies for identifying and creating directories of appropriate resources.  A few committees have already begun to compile resource lists (see below), and we anticipate making more comprehensive listings  available in the near future.
