PARTNERSHIP COMMITTEES
Cross-cutting committees addressing the major issues that cut across the entire continuum of cancer control are: Advocacy; Communications; Data, Surveillance, and Evaluation; and Health Disparities. Some committees have formed subcommittees that address particular areas of committee focus. For example, the Prevention Committee has a HEAL (Healthy Eating, Active Living) Subcommittee and the Communications Committee has an Education and Training Subcommittee. There are also committees related to the operations of the Partnership. They are: Governance; Membership; and Nominations.
The Connecticut Cancer Partnership has five continuum committees, each one representing a segment of the continuum of cancer control. They are: Prevention; Early Detection; Treatment; Survivorship; and Palliative and Hospice Care.
